and sam, I thought you loved brazil because of the drug thing. make up your mind!
Lol. I do love Brazil! More specifically, I love Brazil's government because it's extremely progressive and seems to care a lot about the people. They're trying to do something about the slavery thing, but it's occurring in really remote parts of Brazil so they're having a hard time controlling it. But at least they're acknowledging it and trying to figure out how to help. The US companies were told about some of the practices going on, and they were like "eh, that's Brazil's problem." Which, I see they can't regulate or anything, but you'd think they'd look into it and see if they could find other non-slavery companies to work with...even if it was still within Brazil.
